Pay equity is important today & for generations to come. Because of pay inequity, many Latinas go to work every day being taken advantage of & undervalued. This has long-term impacts on morale, individual health, & wellness. Latina Equal Pay Day, Oct. 3. LatinaPayEquity.com

Social Security benefits are based on lifetime earnings, so Latinas who earn less than 60 cents on the $1 earned by white, non-Hispanic men get smaller SS payments in retirement. The lifetime economic cost is serious. Latina Equal Pay Day is Oct. 3. LatinaPayEquity.com

In our persistent work for pay equity, we must center Latinas, Afro-Latinas, Black women, LGBTQIA+ Latinx and Black workers, Latinas with disabilities, and undocumented Latinas. Every human will benefit from this focus. LatinaPayEquity.com

Lower pay means smaller unemployment insurance checks, increased child and home care hours, and less financial security for future generations. Let’s join voices about the impacts of pay inequity on Latina Equal Pay Day Oct. 3. See LatinaPayEquity.com for details.

Money that Latinas are not getting as a result of pay inequity is money also lost to the economy. Underpaid employees can’t buy or contribute equally. This inequity hurts everyone. Latina Pay Equity Day is Oct. 3. Learn more & find what you can do at LatinaPayEquity.com

Due to structural & societal barriers, Latinas & Black women are significantly less likely to hold high-level, high-paying jobs. If/when they get there, they will be paid less than their male counterparts. Learn more on Latina Equal Pay Day, Oct. 3 LatinaPayEquity.com

Latinas are one of the fastest growing, most powerful groups in the U.S. as workers, consumers, and voters. Why isn’t that reflected in their paychecks? Learn more and raise your voice on Latina Equal Pay Day Oct. 3. For more details, see LatinaPayEquity.com

Black women and Latinas lead families and communities. Pay inequity costs them up to $2,500 each month. This money could be used for living expenses, education costs, and creating generational wealth. Join us Oct. 3, Latina Equal Pay Day. Details at LatinaPayEquity.com.

Wage inequity is a result of systemic racism & misogyny. Latina Equal Pay Day, Oct. 3, marks the extra 10 months into the year that Latinas must work to earn what white, non-Hispanic men made the previous year. What to do? See LatinaPayEquity.com for details.

Many Latinas work nearly 23 months to earn what white, non-Hispanic men are paid for 12 months of work. This is true 60 years after the 1963 Equal Pay Act. Let’s talk about systemic economic inequities & creating solutions on Oct. 3, Latina Equal Pay Day. LatinaPayEquity.com

Latina moms have to work PAST age 100 to catch up to what their white, male counterparts make by age 60. Las mamás latinas tienen que trabajar hasta que tienen MÁS de 100 años para ganar lo que gana un hombre blanco hasta los 60 años. LatinaPayEquity.com

Black women & Latinas experience a wage gap at every education level. The wage gap is intentional & real. Let’s talk about the systemic misogyny & racism at the core of this problem & about solutions on Latina Equal Pay Day, Oct. 3. LatinaPayEquity.com

That Latinas and Black women are paid less than male coworkers is a chronic setback in the U.S. economy. Base pay is only one inequity. Female employees also lose forms of pay that get less attention: equity-based awards. Latina Equal Pay Day, Oct. 3 LatinaPayEquity.com

To post the day of the event:
Our country has to rebuild and can only do it with the leadership and insights of Latinas and Black women. Today is Latina Equal Pay Day, and we will rally each other with information and plans for action. See you at 11:15! LatinaPayEquity.com
